Can you believe that it's the year of our Lord and Savior 2022 and I just did my first ever IG Live! I honestly am not a huge fan of being on camera or speaking publicly, but I'm going to give the Lord what I'm supposed had gave. I'm making it a habit to go live and teach a mini lesson before I teach my bi-weekly sessions in the Blessed+Bossed Up Society.
This past week we took a deep dive into what it meant to 'Count It All Joy'. In a day and age where mental health disorders are so prevalent it is critical that we use both our spiritual and practical tools to have life more abundantly.
That means Jesus + Therapy. That means Prayer + Emotional Intelligence. That means Worship + Wellbutrin if prescribed.
In this mini lesson, I share what we can learn from the Apostle Paul when he shares that he is dealing with a physical ailment that he asked God to remove from Him three times. God didn't remove the ailment but told Paul that His grace was sufficient. It is critical that we know that even if God does not eliminate a situation [completely remove], He will ALWAYS give us the tools and resources (spiritual and practical) to mitigate [reduce the negative impact of] the situation.
If you are wanting to dive deeper on this topic I would highly suggest studying:
James 1:2-5
John 16:16-22
